During this training you will learn how to write and implement a data management plan (DMP) for projects and fellowships funded by FWO, BELSPO and BOF-IOF.
Through best practice guidance, practical tips, examples and group discussions, you will be guided in developing a DMP that describes your research data, metadata and documentation, as well as different aspects of how to manage data during your research and beyond. How to use personal data in research and how to anonymise / pseudonymise those will also be discussed.

- Describing research data, metadata and documentation in a DMP
- Handling personal data in research and how to anonymise / pseudonymise those (Legal Department)
- Sharing / publishing data in data repositories
- Where you find key information to manage your data
- Discussions in disciplinary groups
TIP: It is advised to come prepared and have a look in advance at the dmponline tool you will use to write your DMP to familiarize yourself with the questions asked or start drafting your DMP in advance.
